Reclaim all your voices

Sometimes we say we want our voices to be heard, or we want our voices back. Don’t ask to get your voice, you have a fighting voice, a peaceful voice and a voice speaking from within the deep corners of yourself. Sometimes when we are claiming our voices we are claiming the voices of struggle, the voices of anger and the voices of the wounds. Make sure you claim all your voices. Make sure to embody the voices of peace, rest, and harmony as much as you carry the voices of oppression and rejection. Liberation is the coming together of the parts of you that have been overridden and the voices that have been silenced while you were surviving and fighting. Now as you are ascending to thriving you need to let other voices express themselves. Put your arms at rest. War will demand everything of you so you don’t have to make-believe in times of peace. You can decide to choose your voice according to people’s behavior and not by default. Don’t ever let others’ behaviors put your voices down or change the way your tune flows. Let them tune in or out of your rhythm, you keep singing, keep singing.
